One collage — engagement to first baby
Autumn · Designed with Jean at the Reveal Meeting
Most family, maternity and engagement clients can't choose a single image. We have a special system: you meet with the actual designer and photographer, Jean Marcotte, and he helps you design a collage of three images that tell a story and are a work of art. We've been creating these works of art for over 30 years. We use only the highest quality framing, mount on canvas and frame in our own studio in Toronto, just north of Yorkdale Mall.
Why three? It's the combinations — colour on the outside, sepia in the middle; a candid against a portrait; one photo flowing into the next from left to right. Each image stands alone; together they tell the story.
Three 16×16 portraits on artist's canvas in black floating frames.
Three 14×14 prints on masonite, museum-quality mat, one 50×18 frame.
Three 10×10 prints on masonite, museum mat, one 38×14 frame.
Your 11×14 print is included with every session. The collage is designed with Jean at your Reveal Meeting.

Three 16×16 portraits on artist's canvas, black floating frames.
Our most popular piece. Each image is mounted on artist's canvas and set into a black floating frame, so the print appears to hover inside the moulding. Hung as a trio with even spacing, it reads as one work from across the room and as three photographs up close.

Three 14×14 prints on masonite, museum-quality mat, one 50×18 frame.
All three images live inside a single 50×18 frame, matted museum-style. Mounted on masonite so the surface stays dead flat for decades. The largest of the three styles and the one most clients choose for a main wall.

Three 10×10 prints on masonite, museum mat, one 38×14 frame.
The same single-frame construction as Big Michelle at a smaller scale — built for a hallway, a stairwell, or above a dresser where a 50-inch piece would crowd the wall.
More on Small Michelle →Every session already includes one 11×14 print. The collage is chosen afterwards, from your own gallery, with the person who photographed and edited it.
