What our clients say

Reviews of our sister studio, SIGS Photography — same team, same Jean, since 1996. 4.9 ★ · 96 Google reviews

Jean, Marianna and the whole crew at Sigs Photography were such a pleasure to work with from our first meeting, our engagement shot (I have never been one who liked getting my picture taken but Jean made it fun and enjoyable) @ beautiful Mill Pond Park and to our wedding in July 2023. The quality of the photography is absolutely top notch and beautiful. Thank you so much for capturing this journey for us.

I’m not one to write many reviews but the experience with the team at SIGS photography definitely deserves one. I’m not someone who loves photos nor is my husband but the experience with John from our engagement shoot to our wedding day photos was AMAZING. They made something we’re not comfortable with into such a fun time. So many great action shots were captured and all of our beautiful moments that we’ll get to look back on forever. I can’t thank them enough for the experience we were given. I would recommend them to every single person I know.

Both my husband and I really enjoyed working with Jean and Marianna for our engagement shoot and wedding day. They were so friendly and helpful along the process and took such amazing pictures to help us remember our day forever! We highly recommend working with them.

We had the immense pleasure of hiring SIGS (Jean and Cole) for our Star Wars themed wedding and engagement photoshoot! The team is stellar, Marianna is ON IT from the get go, which is so helpful when you have a thousand other things on your mind as the bride. Jean is SO PERSONABLE!!! This was the thing that really stood out for us, he's funny, friendly, chatty, and makes you feel at ease. The photos came out amazing, I am obsessed! He captured everything, candid moments, family portraits, Star Wars nonsense! I love the end results, and cannot recommend Jean and the whole SIGS enough!

Sigs photography did a great job though the whole process all the way from our engagement photos to our proper photos and wedding albums we got that look great. Jean was a pleasure to work with and make our special day that much better by keeping things entertaining and us laughing the whole way though and just with helping us figure out what to do and what looked best and made the most sense. Would not have been the same with them

We were very happy with our experience and how our photos turned out. We wanted our wedding day to be stress free and not have to think about what photos needed to be taken etc. Cole, Jey and Alex were a pleasure to work with and truly made the day seamless with photos and were there even when we didn't realize they were. It was also a pleasure working with Jean during our engagement photos. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for lots of beautiful photos and a stress free day!

How it works

Pick a park. Show up. Walk.

  1. 1

Pick a park and a date

Choose from 28 parks across the GTA. Book online with the $200 deposit — it takes two minutes.

  2. 2

    Two hours outside

You show up to your scheduled appointment, the photographer talks with you for a few minutes to find out what you're looking for, and then you simply go on a walkabout of the park. With years of experience, your photographer takes many different types of photos.

  3. 3

    The Reveal

Jean Marcotte edits every single image himself. One week later your gallery is ready and your 11×14 is waiting at the studio or on Google Meet.

Most clients can't choose just one picture. So we don't ask you to.

This is what our clients actually take home: three photographs, one frame, on the wall for the next fifty years.

Most family, maternity and engagement clients can't choose a single image. We have a special system: you meet with the actual designer and photographer, Jean Marcotte, and he helps you design a collage of three images that tell a story and are a work of art. We've been creating these works of art for over 30 years. We use only the highest quality framing, mount on canvas and frame in our own studio in Toronto, just north of Yorkdale Mall.

Why three? It's the combinations — colour on the outside, sepia in the middle; a candid against a portrait; one photo flowing into the next from left to right. Each image stands alone; together they tell the story.
