Terms & Conditions

These are the terms you agree to when you book a session with Kogan Photography.

Kogan Photography is a division of SIGS Photography; payments are made payable to SIGS Photography.

Booking and deposit

A $200 deposit is required at the time of booking. Your date and time are not held until the deposit is received.

Balance

The remaining balance is due on the day of your shoot. Editing does not begin until the session is paid in full, and no images are released before then.

Park permits

Some locations require a photography permit. Permits are solely the responsibility of the client. Each park page lists the phone number to obtain one. If a permit is required and you do not have it on the day, the photographer will not shoot, and the session is treated as a cancellation.

Your 11×14 print and the Reveal Meeting

The complimentary 11×14 portrait is released only at an attended Reveal Meeting, held in-studio or online by Google Meet. The print is finalised during that meeting; it is not shipped or released without it.

Cancellation

If you cancel your session entirely, $150 of the deposit is refunded. A $50 administrative processing fee is retained on all cancellations.

Rescheduling

Reschedule free with 24 hours' notice; $50 if under 24 hours. Rain? We move it at no cost.

Weather

We photograph entirely outdoors and watch the forecast. In severe weather or heavy rain we reschedule to the next mutually available date at no additional cost.

Delivery

Your edited gallery is available in your secure client portal one week after the session date. Family and maternity sessions deliver 100 edited 5×5 images; engagement sessions deliver 50.

Model release and use of images

Unless you tell us otherwise in writing before your session, you grant Kogan Photography the right to use images from your session in our portfolio, website and marketing. You may withdraw that permission at any time by writing to us, and we will stop using the images in new material.

Additional people

The session covers up to five people. Additional people are welcome at $50 per person.
